“Just a short walk from home, suspended between sky and lake”

If there’s one walk I always recommend to all our guests, as soon as they put their bags down, it’s the Busatte-Tempesta trail. Why? It starts right here, above Torbole, and offers one of the most incredible views over the entire Lake Garda. Get ready to walk literally suspended above the water, crossing scenic iron stairways built into the rock (don’t worry, they’re very safe!). It’s a pleasant walk, surrounded by the scents of Mediterranean vegetation.

Our tip: “Go early in the morning or towards sunset to avoid the summer heat and enjoy the most beautiful colors over the lake. Don’t forget your camera!”

“The great classic, on foot or two wheels, for the ultimate view”

You can’t say you’ve been to Alto Garda if you haven’t done the Ponale! It’s an old spectacular road carved directly into the rock face overlooking the lake. You can choose to walk it at a relaxed pace, enjoying every view, or ride it with your e-bike or mountain bike for a more dynamic adventure. But if your legs are up for it, here’s a challenge: continue all the way to Punta Larici. Once at the top, you’ll feel like you’re on the deck of a ship overlooking the entire Garda. It will take your breath away!

Our tip: “If you go by bike, watch out for pedestrians in the narrower sections. And if you reach Punta Larici… sit on the grass and enjoy the silence.”

“A fresh and wild adventure inside the canyon”

Looking for something different, maybe on a hot day? Leave the beaches for a few hours and go discover the Rio Salagoni via ferrata, just a few kilometers from us, right below Drena Castle. This is not your usual high-altitude via ferrata: here you climb inside a canyon carved by water, walking on iron rungs just a few meters from a stream and hidden waterfalls, even crossing Tibetan bridges!

Our tip: “It’s a magical and refreshing route, perfect for those who already have some experience or good agility. Bring suitable clothing and get ready to feel like explorers!”

“The temple of climbing among the olive trees of Arco”

Our area is world-famous for sport climbing, and the Massone crag (in Arco) is its beating heart. Even if you’re just curious, walking at the base of this massive limestone wall surrounded by centuries-old olive trees has a special charm. If you’re a climber, you’re in the right place: here you’ll find historic routes of all grades and difficulties, on rock that has shaped the history of this sport.

Our tip: “The crag is also perfect in the shoulder seasons. After a good climbing session (or even just after watching the pros in action), head into Arco town center for a well-deserved gelato or a craft beer!”
